I am reposting this email that my sister-in-law sent me for the fundraiser. Her kids in California set up a paypal account for medical bills and I made this ChipIn to spread the word:
Hello there,
We've set up this fundraiser for a member ofourfamily who was recently diagnosed with cancer. He had to have akidneyremoved as a result, and thankfully it seems as though all ofthecancer was taken out completely. However, a lengthy recovery isnowunderway.
This has created a pile of medical billsasexpected. But there have been complications with the surgery andhewill be unable to work or support the family for quite a while.Also,because of the care he requires his wife cannot work either.
Ifyou'rein the Las Cruces area, we're putting on an old fashionedenchilada saleto help raise money. $6 a plate includes red or greencheese enchiladas,beans, rice and salad. Please call Kayla at575-571-9456 or Gina at575-571-6449 to place pre-orders. Or just comein!
